Description:  Easy, 1-mile walk along a paved path around Virginia Lake in Reno to find and learn about urban birds with Lahontan Audubon member Diane Wong-Kone and American Sign Language Interpreter Karla Johnston. This path is a popular spot for walkers and joggers and many of the birds on this lake are accustomed to human presence.  This affords nice, close up views of some of our waterfowl species.  Look for Black-crowned Night-Herons along the shore and keep an eye on the trees for spring migrants.
