October Big Day: Oxbow Field Trip

As part of our Big Day Event, our Community Engagement Coordinator, Parker Flickinger, returns to lead this adventure in Reno's hidden oasis of solitude. In addition to birding, this is a follow up to our eBird lecture, as Parker will be demonstrating keeping a bird checklist. Our trip will give us wetlands, meadows and the Truckee River to explore, each with their own species. With Fall approaching, we may start to see some of the Fall migrating species, such as Cedar waxwings.
