Description:
In the ranch lands we should find Hawks, Geese, Swallows, Bald Eagles, and Magpies.  The marsh area will give us opportunities to see Rail, Sora, Wading birds, Raptors, Warblers, and on the pond various Ducks, Teal, Mergansers, Wrens and a chance of a Horned Grebe.  The Stilts and Avocets should be present and the possibility of 10 shorebirds and maybe an early Phalarope.  We will also look over the marsh on the NE side of Veterans Parkway where we may see Sparrows, Blackbirds, Shrike, Phoebe, and Harriers and possibly a Bittern.  We could see 5 species of Swallows too.
