Davis Creek Regional Park Field Trip - 6/24

Summary
When: Friday JUN 24, 7a to ~11a,
Location: Meet at the Parking lot before the entrance gate. The park is located south of Reno in the Washoe Valley off of Hwy 395.
Leader: Jeff Bleam.
Difficulty: 2-4mi easy to moderate, a single track trail with elevation changes (~300ft).
This wooded area is a great place to find Ducks, Warblers, Hummingbirds, Nuthatches, Creepers, Woodpeckers, Kinglets, waterfowl on the pond and possibly Osprey nesting or a Pygmy Owl. Walking around the lower part of the parks and the Discovery Trail is medium strenuous.
